Engagement report

a.s.r. seeks constructive dialogue and engagement with companies on relevant Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) practices, in accordance with the standards set out in the a.s.r. Socially Responsible Investment Policy (SRI).

The engagement dialogue takes three forms:

1. Engagement for the purpose of monitoring a company’s continuous sustainability, which takes place regularly and especially with a.s.r.’s largest holdings;
2. Engagement for the purpose of influencing the behaviour of a company or sector where ESG issues have been identified; and
3. Public engagement with policymakers, government, regulators, industry associations and/or other stakeholders for the purpose of implementing and improving sustainability practices.
