We have extensive experience managing investment portfolios for institutional investors. First, we have been managing the assets of the insurance company a.s.r. for over 300 years, and these assets have now grown to over €81 billion. We invest in what we call "valuable" investments. For us, this means that we not only strive for a good financial return, but also consider the impact of our investments on people, the environment, and society, particularly in the long term. This long-term approach is also reflected in the business relationships we establish: we maintain long-term, personal contacts and strongly prefer short lines of communication. Our clients therefore have their own account manager and direct access to a portfolio manager, allowing them to ask questions or share information at any time. This results in long-term partnerships. We share our knowledge during seminars and provide up-to-date insight into the performance of investments with unique client reports and accountability during investment committee meetings. We always focus on the long term, investing with an eye to the future. Not by speculating, but by investing selectively and diversified. We believe in "doing what you say and saying what you do," which is why we are transparent about our approach to responsible investing.
The range of impact investments is growing, but we remain critical in our choices. Is a green fund truly green, or is it simply marketed as such? This critical perspective informs our investment choices. Generating a financial return and having a positive impact on people, the environment, and society makes the investment a valuable investment for us.
