By the end of 2021, expectations for the global economy 2022 were still quite high, but that has been changed the past few months. The question now is whether a global recession can be avoided. In the first quarter of 2022 many countries are already on the verge of recession. China and Europe's quarterly economic growth still was slightly positive, but the US and Japanese economies actually shrank slightly compared to the previous quarter.
